Cover Me Up

I felt that way,

So I changed the colour of my hair.

I straightened it, too.

Then I outlined my eyes,

And painted my lips-

Just to cover me up.

It's all so fake,

None of it's me,

I'm hiding everything natural that I have,

I'm hiding deep under these covers.
